
Abertillery Piranhas is a competitive swimming club that can trace its roots back to the 1920's
The club has more than 155 members aged from 4 to 19, with abilities ranging from learners making their first splash to National finalists.
Piranhas compete in many events under Swim Wales and the asa. Piranhas also compete as part of the Blaenau Gwent Performance Centre for Swimming in the National Swimming League.
The club, in conjunction with HVSC also runs its own Level 2 meet;The Greater Gwent Fastwater Open Meet.

We have thriving learn to swim programme that follows the ASA national teaching plan, and offer all levels from ducklings through to competitive swimming.
